An Android app blocker that puts habits first

By Habit Protector · Updated October 7, 2026

Turn a repeated app opening into a chance to do something you chose.

Set up one useful rule

Choose the apps you want to protect. Set a habit goal, decide how much access completion earns, and choose when the rule runs. Begin with one distraction so that the change is easy to understand.

Why Accessibility permission is needed

Habit Protector uses Android Accessibility to notice when a selected app is in the foreground and present the protection you configured. App identifiers are matched locally. It does not read messages, passwords, typed text, or page content, record your screen, or perform touch gestures.

You enable the service in Android Settings after the in-app explanation. Background behavior can vary by Android device and manufacturer; complete the app’s setup checks and test a protected app.

A local plan without an account

Built-in habits and local rule enforcement work offline after setup. Pro adds shared rules and supported sync across your own devices when connected. Purchases and account operations need a connection.

Optional movement and workout habits

Available habits depend on the device. Optional Health Connect access can verify completed exercise sessions. Raw workout records stay local; supported aggregate progress can sync if you choose account sync.

Pre-register on Google Play

Pre-registration is open. The Play listing shows availability for your country and device. Android TV is not part of the initial public store listing.
