Delete from Habit Protector
- Open Habit Protector on your phone, tablet, or Mac.
- Open Settings.
- Select Account sync.
- Select Delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm the authenticated deletion request.
If your account is linked to Sign in with Apple, the Apple app asks you to authenticate again so it can revoke Apple access before requesting deletion. Canceling that authentication leaves your account in place. If automatic revocation is unavailable, deletion can still proceed: open Apple Account settings (or account.apple.com), choose Sign in with Apple, select Habit Protector, and stop using Sign in with Apple for this app.
What is deleted
The authenticated deletion process removes:
- your Firebase Authentication account;
- synced Habit Protector protection rules and device records;
- synced progress and supported protected-app usage records;
- cloud messaging tokens associated with your account; and
- other account-linked Habit Protector data stored in Firebase.
What may remain
- A limited technical deletion receipt may remain for up to eight days to complete and verify the deletion process.
- Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat may retain purchase or subscription records for billing, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes.
- Local settings may remain on a device until you clear Habit Protector's app data or uninstall the app.
Subscription cancellation is separate
Deleting your Habit Protector account does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel it separately in Google Play or your Apple Account's Subscriptions settings, depending on where you purchased it, to prevent future renewal charges.
